A patent application must include a full description of your invention (including any drawings), a set of claims that define your invention, a short summary summarizing the technical features of your invention and a completed abstract in Form 1.

Once you have filed, you must ask us to search your patent application to see if your invention is novel. Once the search is complete, there will be a first publication of your patent application.
